Ardnamurchan AD Core Single Malt / 46.8% / 70cl

It was a pretty exciting time for the whisky world when independent bottlers Adelphi announced in 2007 that they would be opening a distillery on the Ardnamurchan peninsula, making it the most remote, and most Westerly distillery on the Scottish mainland. They certainly haven't disappointed. Since their first release in 2016, they have gone from strength to strength, and have now released AD as their ongoing core range single malt whisky. 

Non chill-filtered with no added colour and bottled at a pleasing 46.8%, this is an absolute delight.

Peat Levels : 50/50 

Cask Types : 65% Bourbon / 35% Sherry

Tasting Notes : Popcorn, marshmallows and orange marmalade with a subtle mineral, smoky background.
