Lot 40 Rye

Lot 40 is a Canadian rye whisky produced at the Hiram Walker & Sons Distillery in Windsor, Ontario. Established in 1858, Hiram Walker is one of Canada's oldest and most renowned distilleries, known for its commitment to quality and tradition. Lot 40 was originally introduced in the 1990s and was later revived in 2012. 

Crafted in small batches, Lot 40 is made from 100% unmalted rye grain, distilled in a single copper pot still. This method concentrates the spicy rye notes while retaining the fruity and floral characteristics from fermentation. The whisky is then aged in virgin white oak barrels, which impart notes of vanilla, caramel, and toffee, resulting in a complex and bold flavor profile.
