BBR Teaninich 2013 | Palo Cortado Finish | Bottled Exclusively for Spirited

To celebrate four years of Spirited, we are delighted to release the next of our single cask releases. This year, our wonderful bartender Abi spent the day at the historic cellars of Berry Bros. and Rudd, where this cask called out to her as the one for us. 

Teaninich is one of those massively underrated distilleries, largely producing whisky for big blends. When you have the opportunity to try it as a single malt like this, it's always fantastic. 

This expression was aged in a hogshead before being finished in a palo cortado sherry octave, giving some big flavours of chocolate orange, walnuts and Christmas spices. Well balanced, wonderful rich and creamy in texture, we are delighted with our latest single cask exclusive.
