Chartreuse Green

This vibrant green liqueur derives its distinctive flavour and hue from a secret recipe of more than 130 herbs meticulously crafted by Carthusian monks high in the Chartreuse mountains, north of Grenoble. While the monks have been concocting herbal elixirs since the Middle Ages, it wasn't until 1764 that Green Chartreuse was unveiled.
