Compass Box Experimental Grain

Compass Box are expert blenders and bottlers of Scotch whisky who play around with what can be done within the confines of Scotch Whisky Law. Their concept came about to make whisky more exciting and challenge the idea that single malts with age statements are in any way superior to blends and non-age-statement whiskies. They source exceptional oak, and craft their own unique styles of casks, which they fill with carefully sourced whiskies before blending and bottling in beautifully designed bottles that are a work of art in themselves. 

The Experimental Grain is a limited edition bottling made up of grain whiskies from a variety of sources and peated single malt distilled through a column still at the Loch Lomond distillery.
