Glasgow 1770 Cognac Cask Finish Lightly Peated Batch 02

The Glasgow Distillery Company revived whisky-making in the city with its first still in 2015, continuing the legacy of the original Dundashill Distillery founded in 1770. Located in Hillington, the distillery emphasises traditional methods like slow distillation and long fermentation in copper pot stills using pure Loch Katrine water.

This small batch release brings together two casks of unpeated spirit and three casks of peated spirit, aged in Bourbon for three years, and finished in Cognac casks for a further three years. The result is just light smoke, alongside caramel and poached pears.
