Isle of Raasay The Chinkapin

An interesting and innovative release from the wonderful Isle of Raasay distillery. This whisky is made up of both peated and unpeated spirit, and is aged in a mix of first fill and refill Chinkapin oak casks. This rare an distinctive style of wood gives a complex and special flavour to the islands signature style, adding an aromatic edge to the rich BBQ smoke. Simply wonderful.
