Kavalan Classic Single Malt

Kavalan Distillery, located in Yuanshan Township, Yilan County, Taiwan, was established in 2005 by the King Car Group.Named after the indigenous Kavalan people, the distillery has rapidly gained international acclaim for its innovative approach to whisky-making. Utilising Taiwan's subtropical climate, Kavalan produces single malt whiskies that mature more quickly than traditional Scotch, resulting in rich and complex flavour profiles.

Kavalan Classic is the flagship expression of the distillery. Made from 100% malted barley, it is aged in a combination of first-fill and refill American oak casks. The warm and humid Taiwanese climate accelerates the maturation process, imparting a rich golden color and a complex flavour profile. The whisky offers aromas of floral notes, honey, tropical fruits, and vanilla, with flavours of mango, pear, coconut, and vanilla custard.
