Ledaig is the name given to the peated single malts produced by Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull. The distillery itself dates back to 1798, making it one of Scotland’s oldest, though it has had a stop-start history. Today, it operates with two distinct styles: the unpeated Tobermory and the smoky Ledaig, both celebrated for their coastal, rugged character.
The 18 Year Old is a matured and deeply peated expression that offers a more refined glimpse into Ledaig’s bold personality. Aged in oak and finished in sherry casks, it balances maritime smoke with layers of dried fruit, spice, and leather, delivering a rich and smoky island dram.
