Lindores Abbey Distillery, located in Fife, Scotland, stands on the historic grounds where the first recorded distillation of Scotch whisky took place in 1494. After centuries of dormancy, the distillery was revived in 2017, blending ancient traditions with modern techniques. This distillery has one of the longest fermentation periods in the industry (117 hours!) and distinctive 'sister' spirit stills named 'Poppy' and 'Gee'.
Following the success of limited edition sherry cask releases, the team have put together a delicious continuously available sherried release - Nectere. Matured in Oloroso, PX, Amontillado and Palo Cortado Casks, there are complex layers of sherry, bringing flavours of chocolate raisins, toffee, custard creams and hazelnuts.
