VERY SPECIAL TASTING ALERT

Conceptualised by Livingstone Rare - an offshoot of design studio Burgess, this range of independently bottled whiskies inspired by Shakespeare's Macbeth is a collaboration between some incredible people. Split into different acts, each bottling represents a different character, both through the style of whisky selected, and the name and illustration that adorn the bottle. With artwork by the legendary Sir Quentin Blake, words chosen by renowned whisky writer Dave Broom and casks selected by Elixir Distillers, each whisky is truly exceptional liquid, and a work of art.

We are honoured to be joined by Alexis Livingstone - founder of Livingstone Rare and the person behind this extraordinary collaboration - to tell us all about how the idea came about, what Act II entails, and to bring a selection of next-level drams from the range.

The line-up for the evening is below. Some light cheeseboards will be provided.

  • Ross - 28 Year Old Ben Nevis
  • Young Siward - 18 Year Old Highland Park
  • Servant - 14 Year Old Clynelish
  • Second Murderer - 17 Year Old Jura
  • Soldier - 12 Year Old Benrinnes

Included in your ticket:

  • Samples of all of the above whiskies
  • Sharing cheeseboards
  • A guided tasting of the range with Livingstone Rare founder Alexis Burgess
  • £5 voucher to spend on any of the Macbeth Whiskies in the shop
