Sherry Week Whisky Tasting with Elixir Distillers

Join Jon Lister from Elixir Distillers for a unique tasting evening exploring the historic bond between Sherry and Scotch whisky. Once shipped in transport casks, Sherry barrels were later reused to age whisky, creating the rich styles we know today. When that tradition ended, distillers had to develop their own seasoned and finishing casks — changing the flavour journey forever.

On the night, you’ll taste through a range of sherry cask–matured Scotch alongside examples of Sherry itself, discovering how these remarkable wines and casks shape the character of your dram. A must for whisky and sherry lovers alike.

Line-up tbc, but will feature samples from all Elixir Distillers ranges: Port Askaig, Elements of Islay, The Single Malts of Scotland and the Macbeth Whiskies, alongside plenty of delicious sherry!
