ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Anna Bruce is a British photojournalist specialising in the world of agave spirits.

Since completing a project on the rise of mezcal for the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2013, she has continued to contribute regularly to publications specialising in the spirits industry.

Her books include: "Tequila, Mezcal and More," "Dogs and Palenques," and "Masters of the Spirit." She also regularly contributes to Mezcalistas.com.

She lives in Oaxaca City with her husband and their rescued dogs. Together, they organise experiences and events with Rambling Spirits.
