Tri Carragh | Braeval 16 Year OLd

Tri Carragh is a fantastic range of independently bottled whiskies. Meaning "3 pillars" in Gaelic, the name celebrates the simplicity of the 3 core ingredients of whisky: barley, water and yeast, and the complexities that can be built from it. Lovely. 

This is a single cask of Braeval finished for 7 months in an ex-peated red wine octave. It's juicy and complex with notes of redcurrants, pink peppercorns and has a little seasoning of wood smoke. Multi layered and delicious.
