We are in for an absolute treat of a whisky tasting as we welcome Global Ambassador Stewart Dick from Mossburn Distillers to tell us all about what they are up to at Torabhaig - the first new distillery on Skye for 190 years. Shaped by the the stunningly rugged surroundings of the Isle of Skye, the team at Torabhaig are crafting heavily peated, yet nuanced whiskies, releasing new expressions each year as they welcome us to be part of their story as the spirit develops each year from the initial 3 year old release.
In addition to the distillery, Mossburn distillers are expert bottlers, maturing a range of interesting whiskies in American oak before a second maturation in specially coopered casks.
Not one to be missed! Stewart is a fantastic host, and the whiskies are exceptional.
