Wire Works Amarone Wine

White Peak Distillery, located in Derbyshire’s Peak District, is the maker behind Wire Works whisky. Drawing on the region’s industrial heritage and natural resources, the distillery produces small-batch single malts using lightly peated malt and copper pot stills. The team focuses on flavour development through fermentation and cask selection, with sustainability and transparency at the heart of their process.

This expression is a dual maturation, aged first in Bourbon Barrels, before a secondary maturation in Amarone wine casks, resulting in a dark, fruity dram reminiscent of cinnamon buns and strawberry jam.
