White Peak Distillery, nestled in the Derwent Valley of Derbyshire, England, operates from a historic wire works site, reflecting a rich industrial heritage. Established in 2016, the distillery employs traditional methods, including long fermentation and copper pot stills, to produce its distinctive spirits. Their commitment to craftsmanship is evident in their Wire Works series, which showcases the unique character of their lightly peated single malts.

The Rum Cask Finish expression begins with maturation in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels along with a secondary maturation in the distillery's own Derbyshire rum casks, previously used to age their in-house rum. This dual maturation process combines flavours of creamy vanilla and honey with layers of tropical fruit and subtle spice. Bottled at a robust 56.2% ABV, this limited release comprises 801 bottles.
